Nature of the Business
The company sells household electrical appliances and motorcycles on hire purchase, with on-site before- and after-sales services,
visual and audio equipment being the main products of the company. The company sells products from several manufacturers/distributors such as LG, Panasonic, Samsung, Sharp, Toshiba, Hatari, Soken, Samart, and Mitsumaru. In the hire purchase sales business, we offer a " full on-site service", which means before- and after-sales service at the customer's location. The services include product demonstration, trial use, delivery, installment payment, hire purchase payment, on-site maintenance, and product warrant throughout the period of installment payment. The company sets the period of installment payment to be between 3 and 24 months, depending on the financial status and payment capability of each hire purchase customer. In 2017, our company has 99 branches, including 1 headquarters, 1 central warehouse, and 97 branches operating hire purchase services in 50 provinces, with 1 foreign branch. Most of the company's branches are in the central and northeastern regions of Thailand. Our company targets retail middle-to-lower-class clients residing outside the precincts of provincial municipalities.

History
MIDA was founded in 1991 under the name of "Nakhon Pathom MIDA 1991 Co., Ltd. by Mr. Kamol Eawsivikul and Mr. Thanet Diloksakkayawithul, with registered capital of 3 million baht, as an electrical appliance sales business.
The company shifted to hire purchase sales of electrical appliances, targeting retail middle-to-lower-class clients residing outside the precincts of provincial municipalities across the country. The name of the company has been changed to “Mida Assets Co., Ltd.” "
The company has expanded its lines of services to include hire purchase sales of household furniture and hire purchase loans for motorcycles from leading brands.
In July 2003, the company registered to be listed on the stock market, and increased its registered capital to 520 million baht, with paid-up capital of 500 million baht. In November 2003, the company started selling motorcycles on hire purchase across the country.
In July 2005, the company started financing services for used motorcycles.
By December 31, 2012, the company had 80 branches in 77 provinces across Thailand, and 1 foreign branch.
In June 2014, the company established a subsidiary, MD Adrenaline (Thailand) Co., Ltd, a creative agency which offers advertising and event organizing services for public and private sectors. In November 2014, "Mida Agency & Development Co., Ltd., a subsidiary firm, founded a new company under the name of Prompt Printing Co., Ltd., offering printing services of various kinds, such as advertisement signage, media, and prints.
In July 2015, “Mida Leasing (Public) Co., Ltd. (a company’s subsidiary) registered a new company under the name of Mida Asset Management Co., Ltd., which offers asset management services, especially non-performing assets transferred from financial institutes.
